Each mentor teacher is assigned to 4-6 mentee schools, where they provide academic support to school staff. Stakeholders include the HoS, TDCs, teachers, students, and SMCs.
Improving the pedagogy
Building on from their extensive experiences from schools and institutions, MTs help and support teaching and learning. They help build inter and intra-school level network to amplify best practices
Facilitation and workshops
MTs are trained by national and international experts and they propagate their learnings in the mentee schools through workshops and training.
Curriculum or content development
MTs participate in developing worksheets, supplementary learning material and curriculum to bridge the learning gap in classrooms.
Networking and coordination
MTs act as a bridge between schools, SCERT, DOE and partner NGOs and civil society organizations. They help build transparency and clarity of information across the levels
